Historical Background of Goulburn Menturia Lodge No. 3478
A Lodge of 25 young and old members, growing quickly with five new entered apprentices since September. We prioritise Initiations and Raisings but are also prepared to ‘sub-contract' Passings to our chosen friendly Lodges. We have a policy of visiting and supporting friendly and likeminded Lodges, whose members in return support and visit our Lodge, using these occasions to explain and mentor new members. This enhances their enthusiasm and curiosity, and cements new friendships, while continuing their Masonic education. Recruitment is mainly through our website. An informal, though rigorous, interview process is designed to provide candidates with as much information as possible.
